Phase 1: Inventory of Road Signs
This phase includes the following:
· On-site data collection.
Phase 2: Detail Design of Road Signs
This phase includes the following:
· Prepare detail design of road signs, based on policy guidelines and system design using Road Signs Design Unlimited Software; and
· Link detail design to TAMS.
Phase 3: Maintaining Road Signs Database
This phase includes the following:
· Capture data;
· Update information to Trafsoft Road Signs Management database; and
· Link data to GIS database.
Phase 4: Management of Road Sign Database
This phase includes the following:
· Extract information from TAMS;
· Enquiries through computerised system; and
· Prepare reports as requested to support decision-making. (Asset management, budgeting)
